Bechak (Seller)·بیچنے والا

Roman Urdu: Bechak / Bechne Wala

The bechak is the seller — most often the kissan (farmer) whose lot the adhati auctions, but it can also be a beopari reselling stock. The bechak hands the lot to the adhati, who sells it to khareedars and settles the bechak after deductions. In the kacha-arhti model the bechak bears the seller-side charges (arhat, bardana, tulai).

Example usage

Example: Bechak (Seller) is recorded in the daily mandi khata so party balances and settlement details remain clear.

Frequently asked: Bechak (Seller)

Is the bechak always the farmer?+
Usually, but not always. The kissan is the original seller; but a beopari holding stock becomes the bechak when reselling it through an adhati at another mandi.
What does the bechak receive after a sale?+
The net payable: gross (daam × qty) minus arhat fee, market committee fee, bardana, tulai, labour, and any kaat. The parchi itemises every deduction.
How does Pakka Khata show the bechak's account?+
Each bechak (farmer/supplier) has a party ledger showing lots sold, deductions, payments made, and outstanding balance — shareable on WhatsApp as a clean statement.
