What is tulai?
Tulai is the weighing charge or weighing-related deduction applied when crop quantity is measured in the mandi.
What is market committee fee?
Market committee fee is a mandi charge that should remain separate from the adhati commission on the settlement.
Kachi arhti vs pakki arhti
A kachi arhti works as a commission agent. A pakki arhti may also buy and sell on their own account, changing risk and settlement.
Example calculation
A 100 maund lot sold at PKR 4,000 per maund has a gross value of PKR 400,000. At 2% arhat, commission is PKR 8,000 before adding any bardana, tulai, market fee or other agreed deductions.
